Cincinnati FunRaisers' purpose is to
raise funds for cancer research at Cincinnati
Children's Hospital Medical Center
(CCHMC). Seventy-five percent of our
donations goes to Hematology/Oncology
research and twenty-five percent
goes to the Beatrice C. Lampkin Chair,
which advances the vision of Dr. Lampkin
by providing the best possible care
for children with cancer and by working
toward a cure.
Since we began in 1985, FunRaisers
has donated over $500,000 to Children's
Hospital
When Children's Hospital announced
its "Campaign for Children"
in 1998 to raise $155 million dollars,
FunRaisers joined other Cincinnati
businesses and organizations by pledging
a minimum of $25,000 per year for
five years.

Dr. Beatrice Lampkin, CCHMC Hematology
/ Oncology Division at CCHMC
said, "The fantastic support
of the FunRaisers has helped the Hematology/Oncology
Division at Children's Hospital to
do research on cancers in children
who currently have a poor prognosis.
Contributions from the FunRaisers
have also been used to provide a video
and handbook, which are essential
for the newly diagnosed patients and
their families. Finally, and very
importantly, the FunRaisers have organized
holiday parties, brought gifts for
our patients and given time and care
to our kids. We thank you very much."
FunRaiser volunteers maintain a close
relationship with the staff of Children's
Hospital. CCHMC provides FunRaisers
with an office, an area to hold our
monthly Board meetings and our informational
HotLine at 513-636-8900.
CCHMC staff also maintains our membership
list and the mailing list for our
monthly newsletter, The FunLines.
